As we all watch our planet getting warmer by the day, it is normal that we are all pondering how we can contribute to help and make a significant impact by being part of a bigger cause. Changing small daily behaviours can generate real change in the long run. I started to work with Bamboo as a material because it is highly sustainable compared to cotton, silk, or other materials we use daily. Bamboo is the fastest-growing plant in the world; it can grow up to a meter per day, it needs less water to grow, and all parts of the tree can be used for food, construction, clothing, or paper. Once made into a fibre, the benefits are multiple; to mention some, they are 1 Breathability 2. Temperature regulating 3. Antimicrobial 4. Hypoallergenic 5. Absorbent 6. It flourishes with no need for pesticides and fertilizer 7. Odourless and much more. I find the use of the crop fascinating, and now I have also started to consider it a reliable ally to my contribution to the #climate #change #challenge. I also find it extremely elegant and chic in daily use. For by Bella, I select stoles that can be worn, of course, as stoles but also can be used as home decoration or as a companion to your gym activity. Yes ....the use of our stoles is multiple because they are 190 cm. x 80 cm and they lay perfectly on a yoga mat! But best of all, I can contribute to a better #planet by being part of the #sustainable fashion category.
